Some exciting changes are afoot just in time for summer in Old Town Orcutt. About an hour north of Santa Barbara, and 35 minutes south of San Luis Obispo, this small town enclave is experiencing a renaissance, yet maintains its small–town spirit.
This month, Rooney‘s Irish Pub will become Blast Brewery at the current pub location. The Family Friendly Restaurant and Pizzeria will feature Blast Brewery‘s 825′s Signature Wood Fired Pizza Oven, a Central Coast Kitchen menu, Full Bar, Beer Garden, Brewhouse..and 50 Self–Serve Beer Taps to discover, sip, savor and enjoy generous pours of your favorite brews.
One of the most exciting features will be the Blast Brewery‘s collaboration with several excellent Central Coast breweries. As part of the Brew Pub expansion, guest brewers, such as Barrelhouse, and Santa Maria Brew to name a couple, will be guest brewers on a monthly basis. The monthly featured brew will only be available at the new location in Old Town Orcutt.
Local musician groups and ensembles will entertain visitors in a fun, relaxed and family–friendly setting.
The Rooney family decision to partner with Blast and expand it‘s offerings to locals and visitors to Old Town Orcutt, emphasizes according to Tim Rooney, many of the signature events and traditions that Rooney‘s Irish Pub brought to the local community. The great news is that these will continue. Including honoring and celebrating, Fallen Firefighters as part of a 911 tribute. The community will also be pleased to know that the St. Patrick‘s Day event, which has become one of the most popular signature events on the Central Coast, will continue.
The Rooney family, all of the familiar and friendly bartenders, waiters and staff all invite you to experience Blast Brewery. Old Town Orcutt is on the move, honoring the spirit of the pub while bringing a fresh new experience to savor and enjoy! It promises to be a “Blast!”
