The Radisson Hotel, at 3455 Skyway Drive, is conveniently located adjacent to the Santa Maria Public Airport. It is one of the best places to stay in the Santa Maria Valley. The hotel is recently renovated, spacious and the service insures a great experience. As soon as you enter the Radisson, you’ll see a huge atrium with sky-high ceilings, beautiful plants and several comfortable seating areas.
Start out your day with a big, hearty breakfast at the Atrium Bistro. Before venturing out, you can grab snacks in the hotel, for your day trip at Bob and Hardy’s Corner. This is quite handy, especially if you are planning to visit some of the nearby wineries.
For dinner, the Vintners Bar and Grill has an enticing menu, stiff drinks and an incredible view, overlooking the airport.
More and more couples and families are enjoying staycations to save money and the Radisson Hotel is dog friendly, affordable, offers a big sauna, hot tub, clear blue swimming pool and the parking is always free.
What many people love about the Radisson, is its gorgeous facility and spacious rooms. The Radisson is known for comfort and you’re sure to wake up refreshed, after a good night’s sleep.
It’s the perfect spot to get away for a day or longer, to lounge, dine or stop in for an appetizer. The bar is intimate and it’s a great place to sip and savor the Radisson’s signature cocktails with friends.
It’s a huge bonus that the Radisson is only eight miles from Cottonwood Canyon Winery and the head of the Foxen Wine Trail. The backroads to the wineries are scenic, with great views of ranches, vineyards and the surrounding mountain range.
There are several great restaurants and quaint tasting rooms, just minutes away. In addition, it is the perfect place to stay if you want to explore all that the Central Coast has to offer. San Luis Obispo is 31.7 miles North of Santa Maria, Pismo Beach is 20.5 miles to the North and the breathtaking bay at Avila Beach is only six miles further up the road.
Staying at the Radisson is perfect if you want to head south. Keys 2 the Coast recommends that you drive the back road, for a scenic drive and sensational wine tasting, on your way to Cachuma Lake or 60 miles South to Santa Barbara. Always remember…Life’s a trip! Get out there and have some fun!
